Wednesday, May 13 – GEM Club Travel Day Reminders
We wish you safe travels on your journey to Ireland! Here are a few reminders for your travel day:
- Be sure to check the airline website or use the airline’s mobile app to verify your departure time and gate before you leave for the airport.
- Don’t forget to bring your passport!
- Be sure to pack your name badges.
- We recommend arriving at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight departure time. Please consider traffic and weather.
- Upon arrival at the airport in Dublin, you will first go through Passport Control. Then head to Baggage Claim to collect your luggage and clear Customs. After you exit the Baggage Claim area, look for travel staff holding GEM Club signage. They will direct you to your vehicle for your transfer to the hotel.
- Transfer time to The Shelbourne is approximately 30-40 minutes.
A few reminders for Thursday, May 14:
- Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed to the Shelbourne Room for hotel and GEM Club check-in.
- We will have snacks, beverages and a place to relax until your room is ready.
- Hotel check-in time is 3 p.m.
- The entire day is at your leisure. Spend the day relaxing, unpacking, and getting acquainted with your new surroundings.
- Guided walking tours will be available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Local staff will also be available at the GEM Club Hospitality Desk if you would like information on things to see and do in the area.
- Join us for our Welcome Reception from 7–10 p.m. in The Great Room. Attire is Smart Casual.
